About me
From 1997 to 2015 I worked as Head of Talking Therapies at the Wimbledon Guild Counselling Service. The Wimbledon Guild is a BACP accredited counselling provider and one of the largest counselling services in South West London.
Before taking this post I was a research fellow at St George's Hospital Medical School, setting up counselling clinics in doctors' surgeries in Wandsworth as part of a research project studying the effects of early intervention in addiction problems.
My life before being a therapist included social work training and a ten-year career in the arts as an actor and writer.
I am Danish by birth and went back to Denmark to complete my national service after completing my university education in the UK.
